The Aumbry
The rediscovered Medieval Aumbry is used to keep both the Holy Oils for anointing and the Reserved Sacrament (The bread and wine from Communion) to be distributed to the sick between services. It also serves to remind us of the real presence of Jesus in our Community at all times.
The contents are regularly changed, The only time of the year, when it is left both empty and open to be seen as bare is after the Good Friday Service until it is renewed again at the first service of Easter Day.
